Madeira Island Flower Festival

Madeira Island is three and a half hours flight from major airports in Europe, making it an attractive and affordable holiday getaway.  The island in itself has so much to offer visitors besides its mild and moderate climate, majestic island splendor, friendly locals and hearty cuisine.

The island is a true reflection of celebrating life.  The all year round festivals and events brings locals together and welcomes visitors from around the world.  One such festival started out in 1954 as an indoor event.   This humble beginning soon gained popularity and today, the Madeira Flower Festival is one of the primary cultural events held outdoors.

The Madeira Flower Festival takes place in Funchal over a few days with workshops, outdoor displays, and exhibitions. The main attraction takes place on the weekend with the flower parade, live music shows, and folklore dancing.

So, if you looking for a colourful fragrant filled holiday, then the Flower Festival on the Island of Madeira is for you. Join us and come experience Madeira.
